You will be sorely missed by all Lewes Passion Players. Your performance as the Roman Soldier on Good Friday 2015 will always be remembered. Dressed in your short white 'roman' dress and plastic helmet you still managed to have an almighty presence. Your allegiance to telling the story of Christ's Passion on the streets of Lewes was amazing. I was so looking forward to directing you next Easter in Lewes Passion Play 2020 and to giving you a solo at the crucifixion scene. I know you will be with us in spirit and the performance will be even more poignant because of it. You will be singing with the angels in a different choir now and we will continue onward to be faithful Christian Soldiers like you, flying the banner with the cross of Jesus.
